This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a subscription.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a subscription.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
So I've started my first Deviation, and the whole reason I joined this site.
It's a 25.5" by 11" laid out landscape-style (AKA, three sheets of 8.5" x 11" paper lined up side-by-side portait-style), and it's based off of a novel trilogy I'm writing.
Mostly, I'm just started - I have the rough outline of the background in (I used a blown-up photo of New York in the 9/11 aftermath for that) AKA, builings and such are sketched in, as it the outline of the smoke. I've got the frames of the two characters done, too, including the wings (thank you, *Serio555!), but I'm scared to flesh them out - that seems to be where I always go wrong.
When I do finish, though, if everything goes to plan and turns out properly like I want it to, it should be beautiful. I think.
Kaae's gonna be so hard to flesh out, though - I have no idea how I'm going to do that. You see, his back is twisted around...his right shoulder is leaning on the wall behind him, and he's facing the front, but then his hips are turned so that they exagerate the movement of his shoulders. So I'm going to have to flesh that out in a weird way....
I really have no idea what the Hell I'm doing, to answer the question you're probably all asking. I know a little of proportions, especially anime (the style I'm drawing this in), but fleshing it all out is the hard part for me. Hair, too....
I'm liking the wings so far, though - and since I have a step-by-step tutorial page consantly open for them, that's good.
These have been the inane ramblings of a pessimistic perfectionist with a mild inferiority complex, signing off.
....I do too. ADD ME MORTAL. >
Lulz just kidding, I love you~ although considering your last activity here seems to be from 2005....add me if you ever come on. ...Ever.
